Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers of the world! Of course, a special shout out to my Aunts, Nanas and Mom for all that you have done for me over the past twenty nine years. AND a special shout out to Ashley, Brittany and Heather who are celebrating Mother’s Day for the first time!
I just read through last year’s post. I don’t know if I can top that one, so I figured I would take a different spin on this year’s.
“Are you looking for the perfect gift for Mom this Mother’s Day? Introducing Mom Jeans, exclusively at J.C. Penney.” Don’t worry, Mom, this is not what I got you…
My favorite is when Amy Poehler turns around. On another note, who would’ve thought that Mom Jeans would make such a big comeback and be so cool?
Speaking of being cool…
No, but seriously mine is.
Even though she’s a cool Mom, I know there were times growing up that my sister and I felt like this…
And we meant that in the most loving way possible…right?
However, it wouldn’t be long before one of us would be screaming…
I actually still do this.
I used to think I would grow up and be independent, but realize that’s not the case when I still call my Mom at 2am all like….
Luckily, this has become less of a frequent thing.
Either way, I’m sure it had her feeling like…
The most expensive part of having kids is all the vodka you have to drink.
But, let’s be serious, she’s always ALWAYS been my biggest fan…
*sigh* What I would give to go back to dance competition days.
Or days just dancing and singing around the house…
Samantha, sorry, you’re the boy, I guess?
And when we talk about me having kids some day, I imagine that she envisions me like this…
Wish we could get all our Fisher Price Little Tikes stuff back.
I really can’t wait until Jen is a Nana someday…breaking it down like this…
Well, sort of like this, she’s got some serious skills on the dance floor.
Well, anyways, I love you even more than I loved this chocolate cake…
❤ ❤ ❤
It’s okay Samantha acted like a boy when she was little!
